When a human life has no importance for antiabortionists

The Guardian gives this piece of news today:

What happens inside a human head when it receives stimuli from respected voices to behave in an inhumane way? That is the question I pose myself about the story given by The Guardian. This antiabortionist killer - something which is absolutely incongruous - may not have reached that decision out of his own self. On he contrary I would say he got the idea because some louder voice in his brains induced him to act against a human being as the only way for the defence of his "ideals". That's crazy indeed!

Part of the article reads: "Tiller's death was the most violent act in America's highly polarised debate on abortion for many years. Several abortion doctors were shot in the 1990s, including Tiller who was shot in both arms in 1993 but survived and carried on practising."

Another: "A few days later from his prison cell he (the killer) warned that "similar events" were planned around the country "as long as abortion remains legal"."

I wonder whether Americans will realise where the country is going to. When the human being decides to carry out justice himself, then the ethical and moral values of a country are running down the sink.

Which takes me to again wonder how the concept "Democracy" is really understood.

Which takes me to wanting to know who stir these murderous feelings in the killers and what legal responsibility they have regarding the society they live in.
